剛到家不久. 從中山足球場一路走到火車站附近,一路上三五成群的扁旗,扁帽 ,扁友,不時三兩聲的"阿扁啊!動算!!" 每一部客滿的公車,自用車,機車..都有扁旗隨風飄揚! 其實最最震憾的是從龍山寺上捷運起到圓山站,彷彿搭上了阿扁專 車一樣,隨便哪個人看了我帶的一代扁帽,背的小扁包,都微笑著, 寒喧問話.到站時,天吶!...整個車站可以站的地方都滿滿的..微笑 的振奮的扁友.在下頭一層手扶梯時,兩旁的人不斷吶喊:"阿扁啊! 動算!!"人積得越來越多,簡直不知何時才能走到手扶梯,剛走到時, 突的又一陣歡呼....呵呵,又一輛阿扁專車抵站了.. 微笑的,振奮的台灣人民,真要翻開歷史的新頁了! 今天請務必密集摧票,多加上一句,其實只剩兩組人馬! 阿扁或朱鎔基! 選擇中國想要的,那麼每四年他們一定都還要再恐嚇以指定台灣的 領導人!我們一定要讓中國知道,恐嚇是無效的,是使台灣更遠離中 國的濫招! 加油啊,親愛的所有朋友! 為李遠哲站起來!為台灣站起來!! | |

台北人最不會利用土地 現在台北市的建築策略 跟國外相比 實在是太落伍了 各大都市為增加中心 商業區之空間 都在興建超高層建築物或提高建築物高度 並兼顧城市的整 體景觀 使城市有現代化以及壯觀的感覺 亦可利用超高層建築物分攤高昂 地價 一舉數得 對於供不應求的商業空間而言 有很大的幫助 反觀台北市 商業空間早已供不應求 地價昂貴 無遠見卻還在建造高度僅十 餘層的矮屋 相對的 都市商業空間的供給當然極少 問題是台北市商業空間 早已供不應求 說有地震 地質問題 大地震中為何新光摩天大樓 遠企中心沒 倒 反而比那些矮屋結實多了 連台中 高雄都在興建大量超高層建築物以應 付都市空間的需求 日本如此 香港 韓國也一樣 更不用說跟台灣平起平坐的 先進國家 都在興建大量超高層建築物及規劃公共空間 但為何台北市就是 不能 拒絕參考國外的規劃 台北市的建設公司不但不會利用土地 還沒有藝 術水準 毫無國際觀!!!!!建設這些矮房子是不會對土地利用率有幫助 反而大 量浪費土地!!!!!! 若不建這些矮房子 還可以多些公共空間!!!!!! 若建兩凍相同高度房屋須兩片土地 但將兩凍相同高度房屋疊在一起 只須 一片土地即可 明知國民黨最不會聽取人民意見 但希望政府能對在中心商業區如信義計 畫區新建設之建築物在高度及外觀上設立高標準 嚴格加強建設公司土地 利用之效率 緩和台北市都市空間供不應求的情形 藉以改變建設公司之觀 念 並節省都市土地並將其作為公共空間 在台北市 對環境的美化及都市 土地之利用效率一定要用法令來嚴格執行 市府及中央單位一定要強烈推 動建商增蓋超高層商業大樓 (只有商業大樓才需 因住宅以成飽和狀態)如推動各案合併及補助等 一定 要用法令來嚴格執行 才能有現代化都市水準 以台北標準而言 一般商業 大樓應在25-45層範圍內(超過45層範圍技術較高 會增加成本) 不應為十餘 層 否則台北人真的最不會利用土地. | |

晚上八點和老爸一起前往中山足球場,沿路的車輛到處都是自行前往的支持者!才到了承德路整條路都是扁友了,好不容易到了現場,已經人山人海,完全進不去足球場! 硬擠進去後,裡面真的是大爆滿,站的地方都沒有! 和老爸只好到外面看大螢幕(平均20~30公尺就一個),花了一小時繞了一圈,四周的道路~中山北路`民族東西路...全部都大爆滿!連旁邊的捷運站也滿滿滿都是支持者完全佔領! 傳統支持者`婦女`上班族`年輕男女`學生`青少年....全部都站出來了!還有很多外國朋友也替ㄚ扁加油!他們很佩服台灣人民的民主和 勇氣! 接近12點時因老爸身體稍不適,只好提前離場,但現場還是一樣完全爆滿! 沿路回家的車輛幾乎都是支持者,一直到板橋`土城也是,隨便都可以 看到! 老爸他們說,他們十幾年來參加的上百場造勢晚會,從未見過如此熱烈情況! 各位扁友`茶友,雖然氣勢很高,但我們絕對不能放過任何一票!記得 今天一通通的打電話`不放棄任何會轉投扁的選票! 加油加油!讓我們用愛和希望,投下改變台灣歷史`創造台灣民主新頁的一票! | |

BBC News Thursday, 16 March, 2000, 11:19 GMT  Taiwan candidates firm on China The pro-independence candidate in Taiwan's upcoming presidential elections has called on voters not to be influenced by China's aggressive rhetoric. Chen Shui-bian was reacting to comments by Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji, who warned Taiwanese voters on Wednesday that anyone backing independence for the island would "not end up well". "Beijing authorities should recognise that threats will only make Taiwan walk farther away and disrupt normalisation of cross-strait relations," Mr Chen said. The president "should be chosen by the Taiwan people, and Beijing authorities should not interfere", he said. With polls indicating a close result in Saturday's election, Mr Chen's Democratic Progressive Party is hoping to end 50 years of Nationalist Party rule in Taiwan. 陳水扁的民進黨，極有可能結束５０年來國民黨在台灣的統治 Vice-President Lien Chan, the ruling party candidate, also rebuked Zhu Rongji, saying "no person or country, including Communist China, is in a position to intervene in Taiwan's democratic elections". Stock market jitters As China maintained its ideological attack, the Taiwanese authorities intervened in the country's stock market on Thursday, buying heavily after the Taiex index lost over 4.5% of its value in early trading on fears of political instability. BBC News Wednesday, 15 March, 2000, 18:16 GMT Taiwan's appeal to China's young By Beijing correspondent Duncan Hewitt The campaign for Saturday's presidential election in Taiwan has moved into top gear. Latest polls suggest the outcome is too close to call, marking the first time the Nationalists could be unseated after more than five decades of continuous rule. As ever, relations with China are the major issue. But whereas reunification with Taiwan is a major talking point among China's politicians, it is not something that figures high on the agenda for younger people on the streets of the capital Beijing. Customers entering a tea-house on one of the city's busiest shopping streets are greeted with a chant of "welcome" from the staff. The ritual, like the decor, is distinctly Taiwanese. Once inside, customers swing casually on wooden seats suspended by ropes from fake trees, slurping balls of sago jelly through straws from tall glasses of milky tea - another Taiwan speciality. It's a popular combination. ''I like the atmosphere here,'' says one Chinese woman. ''It's very appealing, just right for young people to meet and chat. It's the Taiwanese style.'' ''This kind of place suits modern people,'' adds another customer. ''It's relaxing and I like these Taiwanese drinks. We never had anything like this before.'' Pop For China's young generation, Taiwanese popular culture has become a glamorous addition to their world. One of the island's most famous pop stars, A-Mei, from one of Taiwan's non-Chinese indigenous peoples, can be seen every day advertising soft drinks on Chinese state TV. Yet none of this can drown out the constant rumble of political rhetoric. China's President, Jiang Zemin, was in jovial mood last week when he met Taiwanese journalists covering the annual session of the country's legislature. Much of the exchange was conducted in quotes from classical Chinese poetry but Mr Jiang's message was plain. Asked if China's recent threats were unnecessarily leading to violence between family members, President Jiang said it was supporters of Taiwan independence who would be held responsible for pitting brother against brother. Worried Such remarks may in part be just another example of the rhetoric which always precedes Taiwanese elections as Beijing seeks to scare voters away from the pro-independence candidates. But since Taiwan's President Lee Teng-hui proposed his so-called two-states theory last year, China's leaders have clearly become worried, seeing the island drifting ever further away from reunification. For the first time in years they have threatened force if Taiwan indefinitely puts off political negotiations. Prime Minister Zhu Rongji made Beijing's concerns clear in a speech to legislators. ''We will continue to stick to the basic principle of peaceful reunification,'' he said. ''But if there are serious separatist activities aimed at undermining China's sovereignty, such as advocating the two-states theory or Taiwanese independence, we certainly won't sit by and watch.'' Force Back in the sago tea shop, the government's attempts to focus popular anger on Taiwan's leaders appear to have found favour with some. ''I don't think Taiwanese independence would be good for anyone,'' said one man. ''A peaceful solution would be best. But if it's not possible, then we'll have to use force. It's the only way.'' Others, though, seem less concerned. ''I'm not particularly interested in reunification,'' says a woman. ''Young people aren't too interested in political things.'' Investment One or two Chinese academics have even suggested that today's economically-minded Chinese citizens would see a war with Taiwan as too costly, while some analysts believe China needs its tens of billions of dollars of Taiwanese investment and couldn't afford to risk international isolation by using force against the island. Yet the issue is a hugely sensitive one, particularly for older Chinese leaders, who are thought to be anxious to achieve reunification as a part of their legacy and as a way of boosting the image of the Communist Party. So the outcome of Saturday's election and the way the winner behaves in the coming months may have a crucial influence on the future peace or otherwise of this region. | |

BBC News Thursday, 16 March, 2000, 22:32 GMT US urges China to cool rhetoric The United States has summoned China's ambassador to urge Beijing to tone down its warnings to Taiwan ahead of weekend elections. Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji this week warned voters in Taiwan, which Beijing considers a renegade province, that they might not get a second chance if they back a pro-independence candidate in Saturday's presidential election. US Under Secretary of State Thomas Pickering called in Ambassador Li Zhao Xing "to discuss the importance of prudence and patience before and after the Taiwan election". State department spokesman James Rubin said of Zhu's warning: "In general we don't think statements of the kind that were mentioned are helpful." He added: "Instead we want to see statements that foster dialogue and make it more likely to resolve this issue peacefully." Heightened alert On Thursday, Taiwan put its military forces on heightened alert after Chinese threats of military action. The Chinese cabinet issued a white paper on 21 February setting out three scenarios under which it could use force:
"With respect to the use of force, let me say categorically that we reject the use of force as an attempt to resolve cross-strait differences," Mr Rubin said. Candidates remain firm Taiwan's pro-independence candidate has called on voters not to be influenced by China's aggressive rhetoric. Reacting to the Chinese premier's coments that anyone backing independence would "not end up well", Chen Shui-bian said: "Beijing authorities should recognise that threats will only make Taiwan walk farther away and disrupt normalisation of cross-strait relations." The president "should be chosen by the Taiwan people, and Beijing authorities should not interfere", he said. Close result With polls indicating a close result in Saturday's election, Mr Chen's Democratic Progressive Party is hoping to end 50 years of Nationalist Party rule in Taiwan. Vice-President Lien Chan, the ruling party candidate, also rebuked Zhu Rongji, saying "no person or country, including Communist China, is in a position to intervene in Taiwan's democratic elections". He reiterated his opposition to independence for Taiwan, but added that the country did not need lectures from outside. Independent candidate James Soong said Taiwan "will not accept threats of military force". Market jitters China has considered Taiwan a renegade province since the communists won the civil war in 1949. It conducted war games near Taiwan in the run-up to the island's first presidential elections in 1996. As China maintained its ideological attack, the Taiwanese authorities intervened in the country's stock market on Thursday, buying heavily after the Taiex index lost over 4.5% of its value in early trading. | |

民進黨創黨黨員康水木退出民進黨，支持國民黨連蕭配。 咋看之下, 好像是阿扁眾叛親離, 選情告急. 不過先別急, 待我先來介紹康水木這號人物. 大家應該還記得在阿扁市長任內, 台北市議會曾鬧出退職金 風波 -- 議員任期屆滿後可以領一筆豐厚的退職金. 當時帶 頭主導提案的議員就是國民黨的陳健治跟民進黨的康水木. 當時議會曾要脅市府配合, 阿扁順勢而為, 等到該案交付表 決時, 舉國譁然. 提案者如過街老鼠, 人人喊打. 於是, 康 水木自此跟阿扁結下樑子......... 尤記得當時林瑞圖由挺扁到反扁, 也是因為阿扁行政公正無 私. 不給林瑞圖偏坦或私利....因而導致林瑞圖不滿而反目. 今天康水木跳出來挺連, 顯然是報與阿扁的「老鼠冤」. 十 足林瑞圖的翻版. 康水木退黨挺連, 我想對民進黨是有利的 -- 這代表民進黨 「向下沉淪」的力量減少, 「向上提昇」的力量增加. 至於康水木, 我想他大概也可以因為擁連, 而得到一筆豐厚 的「退職金」. | |
